Rare two tier table model 915 designed by Alvar Aalto in 1932 for the Paimio Sanatorium, Finland.
This table is an original early edition dating from the 1930s.
Finmar Ltd ivorine label to the underside.
Provenance: From the estate of a famous London based milliner. Purchased from Heals London pre-World War 2. Details of provenance will be provided.
Birch bent wood frame and 2 shelves. Completely original.
Condition: The wood has a superb rich golden tone only achievable after almost 100 years. No old repairs or major damage. Signs of age and use as pictured, some water marks from previous use but nothing which detracts too much.
