Set of vintage wooden geometric shapes. Eastern Europe, c.1930-40

An 8 piece set of antique wooden geometric shapes, sourced from Eastern Europe, dating from the early to mid 20th century.

This set of tactile wooden models was used either as an artist's resource or as a teaching aid for geometry and maths.

A great decorative set, they bring a sculptural dimension to any space.

The wood has aged nicely over time with a deep rich tone. The sphere has a hand painted set of numbers which adds a unique touch to the set.

In very good original vintage condition. Signs of age and use as pictured. The cones show some wear to the points (as is usual with these).
