Low stool / side table by Alvar Aalto for Artek, Finland 1960-70

Vintage low stool by Alvar Aalto dating from the 1960s/70s, made in Finland. A rare to find low variant of Stool 60.

Sold by ICF New York, 57th St NY. The ICF label is present to the underside.

This low stool was part of a set of children's furniture (see our other items for chairs from the set). 

Makes a great little side table.

Birch bentwood with white laminate seat. The wood has a lovely rich golden tone only acquired through time.

Excellent overall condition, no damage. Nice and sturdy. Minor signs of age and use. Cleaned, ready for use.
