Perfectly aged coat rack, model 109c designed by Alvar Aalto in 1936, Artek Finland production.
Made of Aalto trademark rounded triangle bent ply birch supports (which were also used on other pieces), solid birch slatted shelf and rounded bar for hangers. Original shaped metal coat hooks as used on early production versions of the coat rack (later ones have inferior black metal hooks).
Early production version as suggested by the rich, deep colour and signs of wear and age.
In original condition with no damage.
