Uchiwa fan wall light designed in the 1970s by Ingo Maurer for his Munich based lighting design company, M-Design.
This delicate light is made from bamboo and laminated paper using traditional Japanese techniques.
Excellent condition, no paper loss, cracks or damage. One tiny imperfection on the edge (approx 3mm), only visible on close inspection. Original wall mounting, wiring and switch all in perfect working order. Remnants of the makers labels still visible. Currently on a 2 pin EU plug (can be changed to 3 pin on request).
