Mid century dining/side chair designed in 1955 by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.
Model 3103, also know as the hammer chair. The chair is dated 1971 to the underside.
Teak bent ply on metal legs. The wood has a lovely rich tone. Structurally sturdy, the backrest is still firm and shows no signs of weakness (as is often the case). No damage, splits or breaks. Signs of age and use as pictured, wear to the edges, surface marks to the wood. Green hammered finish to the legs with age related paint loss which gives great unique patina.
