Carimate dining chair, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1959 and retailed in the UK by Terence Conran through his Habitat stores.

Originally designed for the Carimate Golf Club in Lombardy, these iconic chairs fuse traditional Italian heritage with post-war mid century design.

Woven rush seat, solid beech frame.

This particular chair was purchased by it's previous owners from Habitat, Fulham Rd, London in the 1960s.

 In excellent condition with only minor signs of use, the rush seat is original and undamaged, the wood has acquired a lovely aged tone.
